​Our blog post today is Joe aka @joe_pizzaro from the LADENIMHANGS. They are an awesome bunch, with many celebrities of the community involved and you should check them out too! @ladenimhangs.

Joe always had a knack for looking sharp, which led him to wearing a nice pair of denim with boots. That has stuck with him since, he went to Instagram and found that many other people share his passion as well. Enough from me! Onto his story!!

ABOUT MYSELF

Born in East Los Angeles raised in Whittier CA. I got introduced to Mens Fashion in 2011. Before I even knew about denim and boots you would find me wearing a suit most of the time. Something about being well groomed and properly dressed said a lot about who I was and made me feel important. 

Slowly I started seeing workwear accounts on Instagram and instantly caught my attention. I always had a passing for things that were made great and built to last and to be quite honest nothing sounds better than a pair of denim with boots.   

How did you start Instagram?

Instagram is a great platform that allows you to engage with people who share the same interest through photos from all over the world.

What does social media/Instagram mean to you?

Instagram has definitely played a big role for me. It allows me to social interface with people who share the same passion as I do and allows me to find inspiration.

Any interesting encounters through social media?

There are too many stories to tell. What once started as Instagram friends become real friends. I have traveled to various places and met with these people who at one point I didn't know. 

Can you tell us about LA Denim Hangs?

It all started with a simple idea I had. I came across my good friend Victor ( selvedge1 ) page and saw that he was traveling and meeting with people to who were interested in this workwear style. I wanted to bring that here to Los Angeles but I didn't know anyone at the time besides my buddy Greg(denimhound). I saw that he had a following on the gram and asked him to help me set up a denim hang. 

Fast forward a couple years and we became the LADENIMHANGS and slowly people from LA started to join in and I must say everyone that I have met has been extremely nice and very welcoming.
